Back to the Table at Last

Just from reading past posts, it's no surprise that tabletop rpgs are a great passion of mine.

I don't get all in a funk or anything when I'm not able to play them, but I do enjoy most opportunities to game, and will do so when able. Thus, I'm very happy to finally have games going again for the first time since the first of November.

John C. has decided to run a Pathfinder Forgotten Realms game at Batesville Gaming Center on an alternating Tuesday/Wednesday schedule. The game, originally, was going to be a Dragonlance campaign, but without the source material needed, the setting quickly shifted to Westgate, in the Forgotten Realms.

I'll likely post again about this game, but would like to put it in another post since 1) the party is primarily evil in alignment, and 2) this is my first time playing Pathfinder, and I would like to get a few sessions in before I make a comment about the campaign/system from a player's perspective.

I will say, however, that there have been two sessions, the first of which largely consisted of character creation, and then presented our first hook. The second took place on Saturday, and I was unable to attend due to having no ride. The next session is scheduled for tomorr...today, and apparently completely new players to the game devised our plans of action. I'm interested!

On a related note, there's a possibility that I'll be picking my own Forgotten Realms Pathfinder game back up, but no details have really been hashed out.

And further, I've been kicking around the idea of starting something else up on another night, once I've gotten a new vehicle, but it's really too early to tell with that.
